Get special permission from Graduate Studies (e.g. if you wrote a thesis in another subject)
Take it as early as possible!

You must take ≥ 6 graduate courses (CS2xx) in your major
You can take up to two elective courses
Example:

undergraduate CS courses
Caution: Not all courses are approved (undergraduate major, certificate programs, etc., are not eligible)
Example: approved courses from another department
Need prior written approval
Must not be identical to CS courses
Probation
Overall GPA < 3.0 => Probation
Cannot graduate until GPA ≥ 3.0
2 semester GPA < 3.0 => Disqualification
Don't let this happen! Get As and Bs
Passing grades are A, B, C.
Failing grades are C- (!), D, F, U, or NC
If a problem develops, see your advisor IMMEDIATELY
Plagiarism
On an individual project/exam, do not copy work from any other student
Do not share your project/exam work with your friend working on the same task
Do not copy/paste from the internet into your report. Either rethink/reword or cite.
If in doubt, simply ask your professor
If you get caught:
You may get an F in the project/exam/report
You may fail the class
Repeat offenders can get evicted from the program
“It's ok where I come from” is no excuse
